High density buildings (mega structures).

In my second year as an architecture student, we were asked to design a “mega structure”.
The project brief – Someday, in the not so distant future, men will no longer have enough land to build buildings on! The answer given to us was – MEGA STRUCTURES

Personally, I can’t see myself ever living in a self contained oversized building, but a building large enough to hold the population of a small city is an interesting idea, non the less.
