Hakol.net //UI

Hakol.net was a website dedicated to internet radio.
It was 2003. Microsoft’s Media Player and its friends (Quicktime and Realplayer) were too much bulky for out taste, and we (my good friend Ron Davidson and myself) wanted a simpler, better way to listen to Israeli radio stations over the internet.

Eventually, we decided to start our very own web site and called it “Hakol.net” (in Hebrew, “hakol” means both “everything” and “the voice”).
The site was a very simple, 2 page website: main / software download.

The software was a basic GUI that loaded a light-weight html page with an embedded player (wmp/quicktime/real), depending on the station (from a database on the server).
